Congratulations! You clicked the About link. This is where you would normally find more information on the author of this blog, or maybe more insights/information on what got them started or blah blah blah.
Well here’s your author’s take:
It’s about you, me, achievement, acceptance, and happiness. I relate many things to my experiences with life through the medium of golf, but none of my words mean anything if you don’t apply your own meaning to them.
I will predictably use a golf analogy:
Your interpretation of life is synonymous with your golf swing. You can’t have Tiger’s swing, he has it. Sure, you can emulate it nearly to perfection, but you’ll never have the same exact success and experience he has. You have to find your own way to move the ball towards the hole. Outside of the game, you will never be as financially savvy as old country Warren Buffet. You can read all of his books, and even practice what he preaches (and most certainly you will gain some success), but you are ultimately going to need to make your own investments. However, learning from Tiger and Warren will most definitely improve aspects of your life regarding their respective professions, if not more.
Reading this blog is all about finding your own meaning in things that you enjoy(ed). If something is purposeless for you, and you cannot find any value in it, then are you really enjoying yourself? Are you missing out on some important aspects of life due to lack of perspective?
If any of that made sense, then help me figure out what this is about. Let’s find meaning in the meaningless, happiness in dark places, the acceptance of laying up, and the courage to hit a 3 wood over a pond to save par.
